The secret of success is to know something nobody else knows.” – Aristotle

Hi ,I'am Noufiya N

I am a graduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, currently working as an intern at the Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KSERC). Through this internship, I am gaining first hand exposure to the functioning of the energy sector, with a particular focus on electricity regulation, policy formulation, tariff mechanisms, and the institutional framework governing the power sector in Kerala. This experience has helped me understand how technical, economic, and regulatory aspects come together to ensure reliable and sustainable electricity supply.

I am keen to apply my engineering background to explore various dimensions of the power and energy sector, while continuously developing my technical, analytical, and regulatory understanding. I strongly believe in lifelong learning and actively seek opportunities to expand my knowledge beyond conventional engineering roles.

This website documents my journey as an electrical engineering graduate and intern at KSERC. Here, I share insights from my internship, including the projects I have worked on, regulatory orders and policies I have studied, and the practical experiences I have gained. The site also features a work diary that records my daily activities and learnings, along with a book section highlighting useful and insightful reads related to energy, regulation, and professional growth. Through this platform, I aim to reflect on my learning, share knowledge, and connect with others who share an interest in the energy sector and continuous development.
